Brian Carr is a musician, composer and writer. In 2004 he worked as an assistant and orchestrator for Ron Jones on 9 seasons Family Guy and 4 seasons of American Dad. Throughout these years, he’s written for various television shows such as Discovery, National Geographic, History Channel, Hallmark, and others. He also co-founded a company with fellow composer, Erik Aho, called WaxLab Music, which creates custom music campaigns for clients including Honda, NatureMade, Adobe, and Activision. Brian is also a string arranger and keyboard player, who’s contributed to the albums of artists like Colbie Caillat, Camino, Brian May, and many others.His recent work includes additional music for Netflix’ Unknown: Killer Robots, Superpower (a feature doc produced and directed by Sean Penn centered around Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy), and A&E’s Kids In A Cage, among others. New music has also been featured in trailer campaigns for Hulu’s Boston Strangler, Fantastic Beasts 3, and The Northman. Brian has had several albums on Warner Chappell Production Music’s new label Scoremongers. In 2012, Brian began a relationship with film makers David Dodson and Marius Balchunas, which has resulted in 10 feature films to date.
