Laurie Burke is a seasoned actor, voiceover artist, and coach with over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry. Known as the original voice of Google Voice, Laurie has lent her distinctive voice to a multitude of projects, including commercials for major brands like Blackberry, Volkswagen, Raley’s, Walmart, Metro PCS, Nokia, and Wells Fargo .
Her on-screen work includes playing lawyer Alice Kaye opposite Hugh Laurie in the Hulu series Chance, as well as starring roles in Wives with Knives and I (Almost) Got Away With It. Laurie has also appeared in films such as Mr. Invincible, The Mendoza Line, and Redwoods, and provided the voice for the main character Hisayo in the award-winning short film Roadside Assistance .
In addition to her acting and voiceover work, Laurie is the founder of Virtual Voiceover™, where she coaches aspiring voiceover artists. She has studied dramatic arts extensively, including training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, as well as programs in Paris, Berlin, Los Angeles, and San Francisco .
